Glass Terrarium with Algae Ball (Marimo)
It looks like a ball made of moss, but it’s actually a live form of green algae. Marimo only occurs in a few places on earth. It is a very rare natural phenomenon. To find them, you need to dive to the bottom of of deep lakes or pick your way across hazardous rock formations. The flow of water keeps the ball perfectly round. It grows by about 5mm in diameter each year, and can live to be one hundred years old! According to legend Marimo balls resulted from a forbidden love. When two lovers fell into the water, their hearts transformed into Marimo balls that have lived on ever since. And since then, this wonder of nature has symbolised.

All bouquets arrive in reinforced boxes, ensuring the quality and freshness of the product. They also come in a water-absorbent bag to ensure maximum freshness on arrival.
We strive to replicate the bouquets in the images as accurately as possible. Due to seasonal availability there will be times when we will need to substitute your flowers or foliage. We assure you that the recipient will still be delighted.
